We noted Sunday night that Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, dealing with a bum elbow, was questionable to play this Sunday vs. the Rams after he was limited in practice for much of the week.
On Saturday, though, Palmer took all the snaps during the team walk-through, and he's now expected to start Sunday, according to ESPN.com.

Although coach Bruce Arians said there was no doubt in his mind that Drew Stanton would perform well if he had to take over Palmer's starting role, Arizona has to be relieved Palmer will be ready to play as the Cardinals continue to battle for a wild card playoff spot.
(As you can see here, the Cardinals still have a chance at the postseason.)
And hey, maybe it was good for Palmer to get a little rest from practice this week.
"Sometimes it is good this time of year to give the veteran a couple days off and let the young guy get some reps anyway," Arians said. "He got every mental rep. I'm sure he will be fine throwing the ball."

San Diego coach Mike McCoy will get to see several familiar faces when Denver visits the Chargers on Sunday.
The former Broncos offensive coordinator, however, won’t see his old boss.
With John Fox recovering from heart surgery, Denver looks to keep rolling with defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio at the helm against a Chargers team trying to regroup from a discouraging loss.
Fox was hospitalised last Saturday after feeling light-headed while playing golf during the Broncos’ bye week. Two days later, he had his aortic valve replaced, an open-chest procedure which will likely cause him to miss several weeks.
The Broncos (7-1) played plenty of great football over the first half of the season.
Denver is averaging an NFL-best 42.9 points — 12.9 better than No. 2 Chicago — and is on pace to shatter the NFL record of 589 points (2007 Patriots).
Not surprisingly, Peyton Manning is also putting up eye-popping numbers. His 2,919 yards and 29 touchdown passes are on pace to break the current records of 5,476 yards (Drew Brees, 2011) and 50 TDs (Tom Brady, 2007).
Wes Welker leads Denver with 50 catches and nine touchdowns, Demaryius Thomas has a team-best 685 receiving yards followed by Eric Decker with 669, and tight end Julius Thomas has eight TD receptions.
Denver first turns its attention to a San Diego team eager to get back on the field after last Sunday’s 30-24 overtime loss at Washington

.
The Chargers (4-4) had a first-and-goal from the 1-yard line with 21 seconds to go in regulation, but after an unsuccessful run and two incomplete passes, they had to settle for a game-tying field goal. They never got the ball again as the Redskins scored a touchdown on the first possession in overtime.
The Broncos won both meetings with the Chargers last season, and Manning had three touchdowns passes in each. In Denver’s last trip to San Diego, Manning rallied the Broncos from a 24-0 halftime deficit for a 35-24 victory.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that Kubiak has left Texans headquarters and that a mandatory staff meeting will be held later Friday afternoon.
"This has been a very disappointing year," McNair said. "We started off with such high hopes. We felt like we had the best roster that we'd ever started the year with, and we anticipated a very favorable outcome. To have this string of losses we've sustained, it's totally unacceptable and it's not what this organization is about. Normally, we'd wait until the end of the year to evaluate our coaching staff and players. But under these extreme circumstances, we decided it was in the best interest of the organization to start that now."
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who was the interim coach when Kubiak missed a few weeks with his recent health scare, will take over again on an interim basis. McNair -- who said he'd like to hire a coach who already has NFL coaching experience -- also said Phillips would get the chance to interview for the full-time head coaching job.
McNair also mentioned that former Bears coach Lovie Smith could be a possibility.

BBC One is a regionalised TV service which provides opt-outs throughout the day for local news and other local programming. These variations are more pronounced in the BBC 'Nations', i.e. Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, where the presentation is mostly carried out locally on BBC One and Two, and where programme schedules can vary largely from that of the network. BBC Two variations exist in the Nations, however English regions today rarely have the option to 'opt out' as regional programming now only exists on BBC One, and regional opt outs are not possible in the regions that have already undertaken the switch to digital television. BBC Two was also the first channel to be transmitted on 625 lines in 1964, then carry a small-scale regular colour service from 1967. BBC One would follow in November 1969.
A new Scottish Gaelic television channel, BBC Alba, was launched in September 2008. It is also the first multi-genre channel to come entirely from Scotland with almost all of its programmes made in Scotland. The service was initially only available via satellite but since June 2011 has been available to viewers in Scotland on Freeview and cable television.[93]

The BBC currently operates two HD channels, BBC One HD and BBC Two HD, both high-definition simulcasts of their respective SD channels. Until 26 March 2013, a separate channel called BBC HD was available, in place of BBC Two HD. It launched on 9 June 2006 following a 12-month trial of the broadcasts. It became a proper channel in 2007, and screened HD programmes as simulcasts of the main network, or as repeats. The corporation has been producing programmes in the format for many years, and stated that it hoped to produce 100% of new programmes in HDTV by 2010.[94] On 3 November 2010, a high-definition simulcast of BBC One was launched, entitled BBC One HD, and BBC Two HD launched on 26 March 2013, replacing BBC HD.
